Pedestrian hit by bus dies

A man died after he was hit by a bus on Windward Road in the Kingston 2 area yesterday. The dead man is unidentified.
Reports are that about 6:10 p.m., a JUTC bus registered PB 2728 driven by Delroy Moses was traveling along Windward Road towards downtown Kingston.
On reaching a section of the roadway the man reportedly stepped from a median into the path of the vehicle and was hit. He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he died whilst undergoing treatment. The Elleston Road Police are investigating.
