PanAm Jnrs: Shane Wilson gets JA’s.2nd gold

Eight year old Shane Wilson teams with USA player to land his and Jamaica’s second gold. He will go for Triple Crown when he plays his mixed doubles scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. our time. Other two Jamaican pairs in doubles finals get silver. Jamaica’s tally is now 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze with the Under 11 mixed doubles (for gold or silver) to be decided.

Under 11 Boys Singles: Shane Wilson #1 seed – defeated Vinson Chiu #2 of USA 21-12, 12-21, 21-15 in final.

Under 11 Boys Doubles: Shane Wilson & Vinson Chiu (USA) – defeated Guilherme Lemos & Henry Mateus of Brasil 21-11, 21-12 in final.

Under 11 Mixed Doubles: Shane Wilson & Bianca Hall #2 seed – play  Vinson Chiu & Micaela Lum of USA in final.

SILVER MEDALS (2)

Under 19 Boys Doubles: Gareth Henry & Chadwick Parsons – lost to Martin Guiffre & David Pastewka of Canada 23-21, 18-21, 14-21 in final.

Under 13 Boys Doubles: Sean Wilson & Samuel Ricketts – lost to Ygor Coelho & Fabio Soares of Brasil 21-19, 12-21, 15-21 in final.

Under 17 Boys Doubles: Delsang Lue-Taim & Jordan Roberts – bronze.
