Five men were arrested following the seizure of 500 pounds of compressed ganja and three pounds of hash oil during a special operation by members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force [JCF], at West Kings House Road, Kingston 10.The names of the men have been withheld pending further investigations.
The CCN is reporting that about 8:00 a.m. on 10/09/2008, operatives from the Operation Kingfish, Narcotics and St. Andrew Central Division carried out a special operation in the area.
During the exercise, a premises occupied by the five was searched and the drugs found. A Toyota Corolla motor car which was at the premises was also seized.
The Half Way Tree Police are investigating.
