TELECOM: MII To Crack Down On Wireless Spam Messages
China’s Ministry of Information Industry issued a circular on yesterday in which it says that it will carry out a special campaign against spam short messages across the country before the end of this year.

Wimax: East Meets West
WiMAX has been deployed in more than 80 countries worldwide and commercial networks will continue to grow in number and size in 2008, reports Infonetics. Some 2.2 million WiMAX subscribers (fixed and mobile) in 2007 were led by the Asia Pacific region using fixed WiMAX.
